"The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace. With each step, the wind blows. With each step, a flower blooms." ~Thich Nhat Hahn
I have tended to think of TNH's path as a 'prescription' for one to practice. But it occurred to me that it could also be taken as a 'description' of What IS.

beautiful flower
the silken petals looks so beautiful
Apparently because I just posted some lines by Bankei, I can see for the first time a correspondence between TNH's "this path" and Bankei's "Unborn."
Love the color of this flower!
That flower is the essence of those words.
Tom, interesting connection! I had thought of this a walking meditation and the "path" being literal.
