Reflections of Stillness

"Not wanting"

It seems every moment of not wanting is inherently blissful.

Perhaps "not wanting" is the natural state. No need to fight, judge, or condemm "wanting" when it arises; only recognize the co-existent realm of "not-wanting."

You have a knack for sharing real zingers Diane, I love to visit this blog. The photo says the same thing as the quote, only in the language of art. Thank you.

Beautiful clarity of the reflection!
Such a serene and blissful scene although I sense it is hot out of that shade. :)

That's beautiful, Diane. Almost like an oxymoron in a sentence - seeing water in a desert. I love the reflection of the tree branches in the puddle, and the saguaros in the background, my all time favorite cactus!

Is this your lake? I think it is bigger than my pond. My favorite reflections are those on the water, and this is a beautiful shot.

I came over through your profile this time rather than my dashboard. I didn't realize you had a second blog.

Outstanding image. I'd love to see this one in B&W (not that your color shot is any slouch -- LOL)!
