Innocence

"Look with innocent eyes, very open.
That innocence is always there.
It's a sense of wonder."  ~Adyashanti

"When we are coming from innocence, we are not coming from an idea, a point of view, or a belief." ~Adyashanti

"Innocence is a condition not dependent on age but on attitude. It lives in continual surprise, not knowing how things are supposed to go, not needing them to go a certain way." ~Catherine Ingram

"I know nothing, I want nothing." ~Sri Nisargadatta

"This is certainly not about a denial of anything. If anything, it's the end of denial. It's a life lived without the illusions. Without the mythology. Without the comforting beliefs. Even the belief in Oneness – that goes too. And what you are left with is unconditional love, beyond the concept of it. And you meet the world for the first time. Like a newborn baby." ~Jeff Foster

Ahhh...exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you! The quote by Jeff Foster is especially freeing. When all the mind-stuff is pealed away, the unconditional love that is always here is unhidden. Unconditional love may be a concept, but it is also reality. There is the concept/word "water" and there is the reality of water. There is a concept/word "love" and there is the reality of love. Your photo and collage of quotes bursts the skin of mind/self here..."what you are left with is unconditional love, beyond the concept of it."
